Pawparazzi Day 2011 was a great photo competition and lots of fun. There were three categories of photos – Best Cute K9, Best Lookey-Likey and Best Pawpapped (unposed). Thank you to everyone who took the time to come and enter the competition as we couldn’t have had a competition without you! A big bow wow thank you to all our four legged contestants who were so very well behaved and patiently waited their turn.

Morag was on hand to comb ears, trim eyes and apply bows for those who wanted them. Toby was kept very busy taking photos! Toby’s wife Fritha made the photos available for people to see them (and can be viewed online atwww.tjfphotography.co.uk) and sorted them for judging too. Ann Nixon judged the competition and Ann brought her dog Jack along for the day which they thoroughly enjoyed. Tea and cake was on offer for the human contestants with tasty treats available to encourage the four legged contestants to sit and pose! Martini and Daisy made everyone welcome and were very happy to see their four legged friends.

Ann had the unenviable task of judging the competition. There were lots of fantastic photos to choose from but they were narrowed down to a shortlist for each category. The categories were fiercely contested but the winning photos were Ruby for Best Cute K9 (photo above), Matthew and Charlie for Best Lookey-Likey and Winnie for Best Pawpapped (photos below) Ruby, Matthew & Charlie and Winnie each won a gift basket of toys for their winning photos and the photos will be put on the photo wall in the salon for everyone to see.

Thank you again to everyone who came along and joined in the fun - you made the day a great success and it was definitely worth all the hard work. In fact, we enjoyed it so much we will probably do it all again this time next year!
